A leading global provider of B2B supply chain integration solutions is looking to hire a Support Specialist,based in Surrey.The company’s outsourced supply chain management solutions help companies speed the overall performance of the global supply chains
The Support Specialist will be required to work as part of a global team delivering complete infrastructure solutions and support to the company's internal European end users across multiple platform technologies. This will include providing first / second line telephone and onsite support, and first line server support to all internal end users in Europe, whilst ensuring all site-specific procedural tasks are completed in an efficient manner. The role will also involve maintaining hardware, working with third party vendors, and coordinating with multiple organisations to develop the existing infrastructure, including network, telephony, UPS, cabling and server solutions.
Requirements
- Sound experience in technical support,from telephone based remote support to on-site client based work.
- Strong interpersonal client facing skills, customer focus, technical expertise & good commercial awareness.
- Strong Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop skills
- Cultural awareness and a willingness to learn and tackle new technologies
- Microsoft qualified (MCP / MCSE)
- Hardware support knowledge and experience required, such as Servers/Desktops/Laptops
