A leading online services company is looking to hire a Market Development Manager, to be based in London. The company provides a portfolio of distinctive online brands for the travel market.

The Market Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business development efforts in the UK and Europe by identifying new marketing channels and key businesses for partnership opportunities. The role will involve owning all aspects of business development including prospecting, structuring rates and cost models, contract negotiation, technical implementation, tracking, reporting and invoicing. Other responsibilities include managing and optimising current advertising and partnership efforts through daily analysis, managing a budget and working closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams on the development of new ad creative

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree required, MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated experience of negotiating, closing and managing deals and partnerships
  • Strong experience in interactive advertising, including media buying responsibilities
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills and experience in forecasting of relevant performance metrics
  • Experience purchasing all types of online media and strong Excel skills essential
  • Proven ability to manage a P&L, create budgets and forecasts for senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal, prioritisation and time management skills
